0H sN0w!

Hey Bloggers! I just checked my email saw that Dr. Luongo cancelled class tomorrow because of the snow. She didn't let us know the old fashion way though. She podcasted it! How original. Each day I learn a new way to use podcasting. It's so beneficial. Luckily, I wouldn't of been in class tomorrow anyway though because I am in Buffalo with the school basketball team. I'm happy that I won't be missing any class. It hasn't snowed to bad here but it's suppose to be bad tommorow. I attached a picture I took from my hotel room of outside. My team was suppose to leave today at 9 pm for Buffalo but the flights got cancelled and delayed Wednesday night so we got an earlier flight this morning at 9 am. The flight wasn't bad. Well bloggers! Just wanted to post and say hi. Hows the weather where you are? The snows so great! There are so many lessons you could use with the snow. Love it!

TAKE 2 TAKE 3 TAKE 4 TAKE 5 TAKE 6 .......

WOW! I am completely exhausted. It took Lauren and I the whole class period to record our story. We thought we could get it in one try but no way. We kept laughing and messing up the words, and then Christine and Geraldine were so loud you could hear them over us. It was funny. Hopefully the last one is good enough. Next class, I won't be here because I have a basketball game in Buffalo, but I know that Lauren can hold us down. Over the next couple days we will be comming up with some questions to ask the students after reading our book. Any suggestions?

ITS DAY THREE YIPPIE!!!

Hello my fellow bloggs and bloggettes! I don't know why but I'm so excited today. I'm ready to podcast. It's weird that I'm so excited because I was up late last night doing my lesson plan for Lauren and I's book Countdown to Valentine's Day! I think my lesson plan is really good. I'll upload it later to the website so everyone can take a look at it. I would love some suggestions on other lesson plans I can do for the book. The podcast actually saved me last night because I didn't have our book, Lauren does. I was having trouble remembering everything that happened in the book, so I just went on our Pod cast and listened to it. Awesome! Well its type to go get my podcast on! Talk to You soon!

WHEWWWWW

I just let out a huge sigh of relief. Lauren and I just finished our first official reading of our book on PodOmatic. It came out really well. It was interesting to hear my voice. We had to record our book twice because the first time I was really loud and Lauren was really quite we couldn't figure out why. It seemed like when we were recording it we were both talking at the same level, but then we realized I was holding the mic. So my voice seemed louder. Next class we are going to re-record again so our book can be flawless. It's such an easy book, so we were reading it too fast. I want to make our book really fun. Any suggestions? Maybe some sound effects? Take a listen to our podcast I'ld really appreciate any suggestions.

BACK AT IT

Hi bloggers! I'm in a hurry so this post won't be that long. Sorry! I'm running late. I was late to class today because I thought we were in another classroom. I'm so silly. Today we are recording some of our story I hope. I'm excited I saw our podomatic and we had 4 downloads! Well, I will write more later.
Have a great day

REFLECTION

Wow, classs is over already. Time really flys when you're having fun. I didn't know how I would feel about podcasting, but it was alot of fun. Lauren and I recorded our first podcast today. It was really short. We just introduced ourselves to the Podcasting world. If you have time go check it out. Our name is Lessika Jauren (a little play on words). I attached a link below of our introduction. Tell me what you think! I think that this would be great for students. They could each choose a book and read it over podcasts. Then their family all over the world and country could hear them. The possibilities are endless. What a great experience. I can't wait to read our book Countdown to Valentine's Day by Jodi Huelin!

The Fun Begins!

Today is my classes first day in the computer lab. I'm surprised so many people came to class today because of the recent snow storm, but my Lauren's here! YAY! I am so exicted. I think that we are going to start learning more about podcasting today. I consider my self to be computer-savvy but before Dr. Luongo had explained to the class about podcasting I had no idea what it was. I can nto wait to learn more about it. I think that this will be a great tool in the classroom. Ever since my first introduction to a promethean board while I was observing a fourth grade classroom I really want to make my classroom technologically advanced. Well I'll be sure to keep you updated on my podcasting experience.
